Facing Up To Data

IHPC was cited in the cover story of the July issue of Challenge magazine, the magazine for the òòò½ÍøPublic Service. Titled "Facing Up To Data", the article described how the public service leveraged data analytics to improve citizens' lives. IHPC's capabilities in modelling and simulation were highlighted, and case studies of IHPC's transport simulation and sentiment analysis tools were featured.
In the article, Prof Alfred Huan, Executive Director of IHPC, emphasised that data science techniques should be complemented with behavioural science underpinnings, so that data can be contextualised at the human level.
