Visit by Prof Zhang Jie, President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University

President of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University- Prof Zhang Jie led a 6-member delegation visited A*STAR on the morning of 20 march 2013. The visitors were hosted by Chairman Lim who led a walking tour of the Fusionopolis Sky Garden and gave an update on the development of A*STAR in one-north. Later- both exchanged views on research management in institutes of higher learning. It was Prof Zhang first visit to òòò½Íøand while here- he also met with senior officials from NUS and NTU. Founded in 1896- Shanghai Jiao Tong University is reputed to be one of the most established public universities in China. It is a member of C9 League- an association of nine top Chinese universities.
