VISITS
Visit by Newcastle University led by Vice Chancellor Professor Chris Brink

DED BMRC Dr Benjamin Seet and representatives from BMRC- SERC and JCO hosted the 3-member delegation led by Vice Chancellor Professor Chris Brink from Newcastle University during their introductory visit to A*STAR- on November 04- 2011. The delegation was in òòò½Íøto hold discussion with institutes of higher learning (NTU- SIT and Ngee Ann Polytechnic). Prior arriving in Singapore- they had visited Kuala Lumpur and Johore Bahru- Malaysia. Newcastle was interested in the planning and management of science parks as they are planning on constructing one in the City Centre of Newcastle. They were also interested to establish student exchange programmes with A*STAR.
