FACTORY OF THE FUTURE (FOF) PLANNING WORKSHOP
The first day of the event was mainly presentations by the ARTC and their sister research institutes (I2R, IME and IHPC). The highlight of the workshop was also accompanied by some the companies who are members of the ARTC to share their capabilities and their latest thinking to the attendees through lively presentations, discussions and exhibitions.The second day of the FoF planning workshop was for members and invited companies to brainstorm what industry 4.0 technologies and solutions companies are interested. It also suggests what solutions they could offer and what the ARTC could be working on to demonstrate these solutions broadly and specifically to industry requirements.
The attendees which numbered over 200 included a large number of representatives from non-member companies who were keen to learn more about the latest industry trends, technology and the ARTC model.
