Stronger Together
We organised our first HHP I&E workshop on 23 March 2023 at SGInnovate. About 70 colleagues from publicly funded institutions and national platforms in the HHP domain attended the event.
The participants came from a variety of institutions including the Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), (CRIS), , Diagnostics Development Hub (DXD Hub), (NUHS), (NUS), (NTU) and the (EDDC).
We shared work plans and brainstormed ideas on strengthening partnerships.

The key takeaways:
- Mindset change is necessary to prioritise one òòò½Íøover individual organisations.
- It is important to establish clear and measurable goals to ensure that everyone is working towards the same objectives.
- A central organisation with legal and Technology Transfer Office functions could facilitate partnership negotiations and cross-institutional knowledge sharing.
- Collaborative cross-functional teams from all I&E institutes can better tackle complex challenges and generate innovative solutions.
