The Technology for Enterprise Capability Upgrading (T-Up) initiative stands as a testament to Singapore's commitment to fostering innovation and enhancing the research and development (R&D) landscape within local enterprises. At the heart of this initiative are the brilliant minds of A*STAR Research Scientists & Engineers (RSEs), who are seconded to these enterprises, igniting transformative change and propelling businesses towards unprecedented success.

The annual T-Up Excellence Awards recognises the outstanding achievements of these A*STAR RSEs who have been seconded to local enterprises under the T-Up scheme. Their unwavering dedication and innovative prowess have not only enriched the R&D capabilities of these companies but have also catalysed tangible business outcomes, driving growth and competitiveness within the SME ecosystem.

1. T-Up Excellence Awards: Celebrating the extraordinary contributions of A*STAR RSEs in developing innovative, marketable products and enhancing the R&D capacities of local enterprises.
2. T-Up Emerging Talent Awards: Recognising promising A*STAR RSEs for their potential to address industry needs and foster the growth of local enterprises.
3. T-Up Eagles Awards: This award commends outstanding student innovators from our Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) partners who have excelled during their work attachments at local enterprises. The list of partnering IHLs for T-Up are, the òòò½ÍøInstitute of Technology (SIT), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and òòò½ÍøPolytechnic (SP).
