Do Anh Tuan

Director, Photonic Components
A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre

Dr Anh-Tuan Do is a Director at the A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC). He also serves as a Principal Investigator in the IC Design and Systems department at the A*STAR’s Institute of Microelectronics (IME). He leads various cross-disciplinary projects, including the DELTA-Q Project 5 (A*STAR Strategic Research Programme), Advanced Quantum Processor (NRF QEP 2.0), PACE hardware accelerator (NRF-CRP), and Neuromorphic Computing (AME programmatic).

Dr Do earned his B. Eng and Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He began his career as a Research Fellow with VIRTUS, the IC Design Centre of Excellence at NTU, in 2010. In 2015, he joined the Digital IC Design Group at the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), A*STAR, Singapore.

His research focuses on cryogenic circuits for quantum technologies, ultra-low power CMOS design, neuromorphic computing, AI hardware, energy-efficient computing architecture, and compute-in-memory architectures. As a Director at Q.InC, Dr Do is responsible for coordinating efforts in designing cryogenic ASIC and advanced packaging technologies for future quantum sensing and fault-tolerant quantum computers.

Dr Do has authored and co-authored over 100 papers in IEEE journals and conferences. He has received best paper awards from ISLPED 2023, ISOCC 2022, and SOCC 2012. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems, is a TPC member of A-SSCC, and reviews for several IEEE journals and conferences, including IEEE TCAS I: Regular Papers, IEEE TCAS II: Express Briefs, and IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems.

Dr Do is currently a senior member of IEEE.
