Dr Meng is a Senior Principal Scientist and Head of the Electromagnetics and Time Metrology Cluster at A*STAR’s National Metrology Centre. He is responsible for Cluster overall operation and leading R&D activities especially in high-frequency metrology. He is chairing the Technical Committee on Electricity and Magnetism of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) and serves as a Technical Peer Reviewer for other NMIs and a Technical Assessor for the òòò½ÍøAccreditation Council (SAC). Dr Meng has received several awards, including the APMP Iizuka Young Metrologist Award (2017), the national Technology for Enterprise Capability Upgrading (T-Up) Excellence Award (2015), a Best Student Paper Award (2017), and SAC Assessor Awards (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) in 2016, 2019, and 2022
Dr Meng received his B.Eng. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2005 and 2010. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and URSI.
