Abrasive Engineering (AE) is a local manufacturing SME that makes sandblasting and shot peening machines, and provides such services, for the aerospace, marine, automotive and oil and gas industries in òòò½Íøand globally.
Since 2013, AE has collaborated with A*STAR to stay competitive for the future. It tapped on A*STAR’s Model Factory* to digitalise the shot peening process of its machines, and developed new products through co-innovation with A*STAR’s Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), and started developing long-term growth strategies under A*STAR’s Operation & Technology Roadmap (OTR) programme^.
