Mr Colin Yap

Colin is a versatile and experienced Operations Manager at A*STAR’s Centre for Frontier AI Research (CFAR), bringing over 20 years of expertise across project management, corporate services, office administration and customer service. His strengths lie in optimising workflow efficiency, promoting cross-functional collaboration and implementing cost-effectiveness strategies.

With a diverse background in managerial roles spanning government, legal, finance and aviation sectors, Colin is recognised for his methodical approach, strong communication skills, and keen ability to streamline workflows and operational efficiency.

In his current role at CFAR, he ensures seamless daily operations while overseeing key areas such as strategic planning, compliance, administration and financial management.
