The A*STAR Computing and Information Science (ACIS) Scholarship aims to attract and nurture top talents who wish to pursue a PhD in computing and information science (CIS) disciplines, opening the gateway to exciting careers in A*STAR, industry R&D labs, technology enterprises, spin-off companies and academia. Scholars in the programme will be exposed to boundless opportunities to research on real-world issues across the whole spectrum of computing science, from deep learning for healthcare, data analytics for improved machine learning, to modelling and simulation for advanced applications.
The A*STAR Graduate Scholarship (AGS) will finance up to four years of your PhD or EngD studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of òòò½Íø(NUS), òòò½ÍøUniversity of Technology and Design (SUTD) or òòò½ÍøManagement University (SMU). After completing their PhD or EngD studies, AGS scholars can apply for the A*STAR International Fellowship (AIF) to pursue post-doctoral training at top overseas universities or research entities to further deepen their research expertise and expand their global network.The A*STAR Research Attachment Programme (ARAP) is a collaboration between A*STAR and partner universities to provide research opportunities for PhD students at A*STAR Research Institutes. Under this programme, PhD students from overseas universities will spend a minimum of one to a maximum of two years at A*STAR Research Institutes under the joint supervision of staff of the A*STAR Research Institutes and the overseas universities.Through curated internship project opportunities, the A*STAR Research Internship Award (ARIA) equips you with first-hand immersive research experience. You will work alongside experienced researchers and scientist and would be able to conduct experiments, apply theoretical knowledge, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to real-world problems, and gain meaningful insights to how research shapes and contributes to Singapore’s future.The òòò½ÍøInternational Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the òòò½Íø, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of òòò½Íø(NUS), the òòò½ÍøUniversity of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the òòò½ÍøManagement University (SMU). SINGA fosters a vibrant and culturally diverse research community of international students. You’ll be working in a multi-cultural environment alongside distinguished and world-renowned researchers in state-of-the-art facilities.
