Why CFAR Internship Award for Research Excellence (CIARE)?

The CIARE is a unique summer internship programme that:

• Helps students develop solid foundation in research skills through immersive learning and interaction.
• Empowers students to explore a diverse range of AI-related disciplines, fostering innovation across fields.
• Provides a supportive environment for growth, learning and impactful research projects, advancing AI technology.

Who can apply?

• Undergraduates (≥ 2nd year) or Master’s students in Computing and Information Science, Engineering and Technology from local IHLs.
• Excellent academic standing in your undergraduate programme, i.e., on track to obtain at least a 2nd Upper Class Honours Degree or equivalent, CGPA grades of 4.0 out of 5.0.
• Keen interest in AI research.
• Minimum internship duration of 08 weeks during vacation.
