HYBRID AM MACHINE

Interested to Know More? |
Hybrid machines combine additive and subtractive manufacturing, and can be used for machining complex-shaped parts for aircraft and medical components, repair and coating on parts for corrosive wear protection. It has the ability that can add on detail features to a finished product or a damaged part with precision removal in the same process.
EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS
- Model: DMG-Mori Lasertec 65 3D
- Processing materials: Stainless Steel, Nickel-based alloys(Inconnel 625,718), Tungsten Carbide Matrix Materials, Chrome-Cobalt-Molybdenum alloys, Stellite, Tol steel(weldable), bronze and brass alloys.
- Maximum workpiece dimension(Additive Manufacturing) : ø500 X 400 mm
- Maximum workpiece weight : 600kg
CAPABILITIES / APPLICATIONS
Allows faster production of complex geometries and individual 3D parts. Flexible changeover between laser and milling operations enable direct machining of areas of areas that can no longer be reached later on the finished part. Additive process 10X faster than the generation in a powder bed. Applications such as production, repair and coatings are feasible.
