Overview
There is an increasing demand for self-testing kits. The requirements come from a diverse population of society for various applications such as infectious disease detection, pregnancy testing, ovulation tracking, etc. The reliable self-testing kits ensure early detection of the disease and reduce anxiety. Conventionally, laboratory-based ELISA testing comes with significant downsides due to longer waiting time and cost per use. Thus, it creates a need for point-of-care technology or user-friendly self-testing kits.
The molecular sensing platform was developed as a one-stop solution for detecting multi-biomarkers on the same device. The solution is also integrated with readout circuit with LED display. The solution utilizes biological activity for infectious disease detection and does not require measurement of the static environment in advance.
