GERMFREE MOUSE UNIT
Germfree Mouse Unit
Established in 2022, the germfree mouse unit is a part of Biological Resource Centre and serves to provide germfree and gnotobiotic mice services to researchers in Biopolis and Singapore.The unit handles in-house colony of inbred and outbred germfree mice, and host reserchers' studies involving host-micorbiome interactions, infectious disease, etc.
BRC germfree staff are able to perform research and training in gnotobiotic technology and methods.

- Swiss Webster
Housing
The germfree unit currently has semirigid, flexible film and surgical isolators available for short-term, long -term germfree or gnotobiotic housing.
