Eligibility Criteria
Students must:
- Be enrolled in a Ph.D. programme at the collaborating university;
- Possess a bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent, preferably from a well-ranked university;
- Have strong referee reports from past supervisors; and
- Preferably have prior research experience.
Programme Requirements
- ARAP awardees should be physically based in IMRE throughout their attachment.
- ARAP awardees and their supervisors are required to complete a progress report and submit it in the 9th month and 21st month of their attachment.
Nomination Process
To be nominated for the joint project, the Ph.D. supervisor from the University and IMRE Researcher are to complete a form and submit it together with the following documents to the A*STAR Graduate Academy (A*GA). - Certificates and Transcripts of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (if any) in English (copy / translation certified by the institution)
- Ph.D. matriculation letter from the collaborating university
- At least 2 recommendation letters from past supervisors
- Copy of the passport
