NQFF Director

Dr. Manas Mukherjee holds a Ph.D. in natural sciences from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He was a Lise-Meitner Fellow working in the group of Prof. Rainer Blatt at Innsbruck, Austria before starting his own research group at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore.
Since, 2022 he is the Director of the National Quantum Federated Foundry (NQFF) at the Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE), A*STAR. His primary interest lies in quantum computing, sensing and metrology with particular interest in scaling of quantum devices. He worked as Max-Planck International Fellow developing techniques and tools for novel ion trap designs and forging international partnerships.
Currently, he is actively involved in quantum ecosystem development in òòò½Íøand beyond.
