Winner of Poster Prize at Bioflavour 2022
Our SIFBI team has done it again at Bioflavour 2022! What can be more impressive than winning the best poster award at two consecutive Bioflavour conferences? Warmest congratulations to Dr , Dr Simon Zhang Congqiang and their team for this incredible achievement.
The winning poster study aims to design an artificial biosynthetic pathway to achieve cost-effective, higher yield and specificity of cis-𝛼-irone (one of the most expensive ingredients used in perfumery) production using metabolically engineered Escherichia coli.
