Our Discovery Platform houses the renowned Natural Product Library (NPL)—one of the world’s largest biodiversity collections, featuring 37,000+ plant specimens, 123,000 microbial strains, and 330,000 organic extracts. We leverage this vast resource to unlock sustainable, high-value ingredients, molecules, enzymes, and bioactives for industries such as food, consumer care, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and more.
Screening Technologies
Our platform excels in the design and development of advanced bioactivity screening assays. Using miniaturized biochemical and cellular assays, we identify novel bioactives, food ingredients, enzymes, and strains with targeted functions such as antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, enzyme inhibition, and receptor modulation. These compounds are tailored for a range of industrial applications. In collaboration with bioinformaticians, we also employ in silico screening to map biosynthetic pathways, accelerating discovery. Furthermore, our proprietary in vitro taste analysis platform assesses the taste profiles of samples, providing critical insights for ingredient discovery.
Ingredient Bioconversion
Using fermentation and NPL microbial biodiversity, we identify and produce unique aromas, flavors, and bioactive compounds that enhance sensory and functional attributes across multiple industries.
Ingredient performance enhancement
We optimize newly discovered ingredients with poor stability, bioavailability, or sensory properties, using supramolecular system formation to enhance their functionality and seamless integration into final products.
