Biography

Shengli Xu obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biology and Master's degree in Physiology at Nankai University, China, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. After working as a lecturer at the Medical School of Nankai University for three years, he joined the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), òòò½Íøand conducted his PhD work in 1998. Shengli obtained his PhD in Immunology from the National University of òòò½Íø(NUS) in 2003. From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a Research Fellow at IMCB and a Senior Research Fellow at òòò½ÍøImmunology Network (SIgN). In 2009, he joined Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI) as a Research Scientist and subsequently became a Senior Lead Research Scientist and a Group Leader. In 2020, Shengli rejoined SIgN to lead the B Cell Immunology Group. He is also an adjunction assistant professor at the Department of Physiology, NUS. His research interests include B cell immunology and immunotherapy.
