SENSORISATION FOR BROWNFIELD CONNECTIVITY* (16 HOURS)

introduction
Many factories have decade-old brownfields machines and rehabilitation of existing machines, devices, and sensors would incur high costs. To overcome this difficulty, brownfield sensorisation is the first mile for implementation of Industry 4.0. Brownfield’s machines sensorisation and connectivity enable the data extraction and provide real-time visibility, find the root cause of downtime and take corrective actions immediately and enable the improvement of production efficiency and productivity.
About the Programme
This intensive two-day hands-on course will be conducted in an immersive learning environment in the Model Factory@SIMTech. It aims to equip participants with training in sensor fundamentals, sensor selection and placement, machine connectivity and data extraction. This course is specifically developed to meet the local industry needs and will be taught by expert industry practitioners in the field. Real-world case studies are discussed to highlight the applications in industry. Participants have the opportunity to have hands-on practise with several types of sensors and machines.
Who Should Attend
This course is recommended for personnel from manufacturing sectors such as precision engineering, electronics, general manufacturing and pharmaceutical. This course is designed for professionals such as project managers, engineers & technicians, IT professionals in the manufacturing industry who want to gain an in-depth understanding of how sensorisation and connectivity can help to lead their organisations into Industry 4.0.
