The Sectoral AI Centre of Excellence for Manufacturing (AIMfg) is a pilot initiative jointly developed by the and the òòò½Íø, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). It forms part of Singapore’s effort under the to build a thriving industry ecosystem in òòò½Íøwith significant value creation from artificial intelligence (AI) and capabilities across the AI technology stack.
Launched in September 2024, AIMfg brings together expertise in AI and the manufacturing domain with its various use cases. This initiative will actively convene and collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders across industry, research and government, leveraging A*STAR’s capabilities in AI technologies, including Generative AI and large language models, to develop and deploy impactful solutions for businesses.
