PRIME MINISTER OF SERBIA'S VISIT TO GIS

On 16 November 2022, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Ana Brnabić, accompanied by the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, H.E. Jelena Begović, and the Serbian delegation visited the Genome Institute of òòò½Íøas part of their tour of A*STAR biomedical facilities.

Prof Patrick Tan, Executive Director of GIS, provided an introduction to A*STAR and GIS to the Serbian delegation.
The visit concluded with a tour of the research facilities at GIS’ Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) lab and GIS-PRECISE EXTRACT joint lab, where the ministers were provided with an understanding of their work in genomic science and precision medicine.
